  • What will people at work say if they know I have epilepsy? Can I let my child continue playing outside?
  • Can I let him sleep alone?

What is psychosocial distress?

Psychosocial distress is a combination of psychological concerns related to your feelings and thoughts and the social aspect tied to your relationships with other individuals or entities. Psychosocial concerns can lead to headaches, heart palpitations, sleep disturbances, depression, and even suicidal thoughts. Individuals often experience psychosocial issues to be more challenging than the seizures themselves.
